Our application development capability has been developed by executing several challenging projects of varying sizes and complexities from concept to delivery stage - feasibility study, high level design, functional specifications, prototyping, low level design, coding, testing, training, conversion, integration, installation and maintenance. Depending on the scope of the project, we employ various development methodologies - Waterfall Methodology, Iterative Methodology or Rapid Application Development.

Binary's development activity focuses on building and re-using components, business components and system components. Our vast experience in software development has resulted in a rich reservoir of ready-to-implement components that provides fast development advantage as well as ensures reliability of the final product. Our component based development methodology relies on assembling and using available components as well as constructing new components. Our component library includes user interface controls created in VBX, OCX and ActiveX to small application subsystems.

Project Experience

With an application development experience of over a decade, Binary has implemented and integrated several successful projects. Mentioned below are few of these:

Binary has developed a complete Business Information System for a trans national auto ancillary from Italy. The system comprised of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Order Processing, Inventory and Purchase Management modules. The system was developed as a result of business process reengineering initiative undertaken by the company. Development Environment: Oracle database and Developer 2000.

For a leading packed goods mover, Binary developed a Transport Management system comprising Booking & Delivery, Lorry Management and Stationery Management modules. The system runs on Windows 2000 Terminal server as host-based application.

Developed an Integrated Human Resources and a Payroll Management system for a large polyfilm and chemical manufacturing company. Production Environment: Oracle 8 running on HPUX.

Binary completed an Integrated Business Management System project for a US based Internet content and Desktop publishing company. The project comprised of Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Machine Maintenance and Materials Management modules.
