With headquarters in Amsterdam and teams working in Europe, Asia, US and a network of associated travel agents in dozens of countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, they provide travel arrangements, from an adventurous safari to a stay at one of the internationally renowned hotels; from local plane tickets to complete tours.

Application Brief

Travelxs.com is a comprehensive online travel portal that facilitates end users and travel agents for tours and online ticket booking. It has a relationship with more than 150 Travel Agents who are certified Travel Agents of TravelXS.com.

The main modules of the system include:

TravelXS Administration Module:

The module administer the complete website. It has facility to Add, Modify, and Delete certain links/features/places/etc. It has some exclusive features like TCA creation, news update, and know everything.

Booking Module:

This module offers two different options to visitors for their tour plans:
Customized Tours- Here visitor is provided with an option to customize his tour plans first then he will be offered a list of travel agents who are operating in those areas. He can then enquire about his queries through travelxs.com and once the tour is finalized then only identity of TCA is disclosed.

Predefined Tours- Here visitor selects a TCA in the area where he wants to travel and then he enquires about his queries and a communication is established between the TCA and user through TravelXS.

Fly Anywhere Module:

This module is a kind of value added service provided by the portal. It provides the list of the ticketing agents of that country where the user wishes to travel and online tickets could be booked through them.

Know Everything Module:

It is a categorized collection of links about places, tours, etc. It has got a feature called Link Robot, which keeps the track of the links present on the site and escalates any problem as soon as it occurs.

My TravelXS Module:

Here members of the site could put their personal information like passport details, travel insurance, medical information, etc. The database also keeps track of information about the member's tours through TravelXS like flight details and the places where he had visited.

News Module:

It provides the latest news items and Admin has an option to Add, Modify, and Delete. Visitors could browse through archive news items also by clicking into archive section.

TravelXS Certified Agents (TCAs):

TravelXS approved certified agents can publish their information on the website through an interface and they have the options to Add, Modify, and Delete their information.

For Agencies Module:

The travel agent who wants to be a TCA can make a request online to the website and TravelXS Admin evaluates and the status is confirmed to the agent.

Search Module:

It provides two search option one, internal web site search and other, advance search. Internal search is for the entire website and the advance search assist to find all tours and travel related information.
